Learning through play since 1969
Children learn best through doing. That's why children at All Saints' Day School in the Great Neck corridor of Virginia Beach look forward to returning to preschool every day. Nurturing each child in his or her social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, our highly qualified staff receive ongoing professional training. All but one are degreed, and several also have a master’s degree.
In addition to half-day preschool, we offer kindergarten enrichment to children zoned for John B. Dey Elementary—extending them to a full day of learning. Located just half a mile from the Chesapeake Bay, we're also close to Cape Henry Collegiate, First Landing State Park, Fort Story, First Colonial Road, Mill Dam Road, and the Alanton, Trantwood, and Thoroughgood neighborhoods.
A reputation for school preparation
From library time, music time, and Spanish lessons, every activity is focused on optimal development and school readiness... all within a happy, supportive atmosphere. Community involvement and helping others are also priorities in our program. We work hard every day, with every child, to be the best preschool in Virginia Beach.
Our preschool, junior kindergarten, kindergarten enrichment, and kindergarten programs provide a solid foundation of skills on which to build children's future “houses of knowledge".
"Our son had his kindergarten assessment today, which went very well and is a huge testament to everything you do with them at ASDS
"[Our daughter] has really developed socially and mentally, largely due to her wonderful teachers."
"When my son enrolled as a two year old, I never envisioned he would be reading by his last year of preschool! All Saints' boasts one of the most highly credentialed staffs you will find in our area, and they are compassionate and fun."
