Meet the Staff
Dianne Islev-Petersen

Dianne Islev-Petersen has served as the Director for the All Saints’ Day School since the fall of 2011.

Dianne comes to us from within our own school where she served as lead teacher of the “Three’s Class” from 2006-2011. Like most of the ASDS Staff, Dianne’s own son came through the school and she credits the school’s nurturing, play-based environment for his current success at Norfolk Academy.

Dianne began her professional career in 1992 as a teacher with the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Following her tenure with the VBCPS¸ Dianne worked as a field representative for Scholastic Book Fairs. In this role, she visited schools, collaborated with media specialists, and presented workshops for teachers and book talks for students of all ages in order to generate interest in the fairs their schools had chosen to host. This position also had her participating in warehouse sales, a variety of promotional events, and handling the daily related financial responsibilities.
